SEC’s Outdoor Adventures take you to some of the most beautiful places in our region to learn about nature in a spirit of fun. Each season, SEC’s top-notch educators and experts design unique excursions where participants get a up close and personal with the Great Outdoors and drink-in information about wildlife, wildflowers, geology, natural history and more. Each Adventure is family-friendly and offers comfortable–and often unforgettable–accommodations throughout the Northwest. And there are options for nearly every schedule and family situation–check out the 2017 offerings below!

Join our environmental educators for a weekend adventure that offers spectacular vistas, vibrant wildflowers, a guided tour of tribal petroglyphs, hikes for all fitness levels, regional wines, a private group tour of Cor Cellars winery, natural history and botany presentations, and gourmet dinners at the historic Lyle Hotel. This fun excursion is perfect for couples, families and anyone who loves the Great Outdoors. Bring a friend or make new friends!

European-style Hostel Package @ the Bingen School Inn | Bingen, WA

Trip packages include Saturday lunch, presentations, guided hikes, and interpretive tours. Connoisseur packages include continental breakfasts at the Lyle Hotel. Friday & Saturday dinners and Sunday lunch are no-host. One-night options include the activities on the following day only. Sorry, no dogs or bikes. Double occupancy = two people in a room. Single occupancy = one person in a room.

Camp Kid Again–Summer Camp for Grown-Ups!

Ever wanted to re-visit (or for that matter, create) that summer camp experience so many of us had as kids? Then SEC’s Summer Camp for Grown-ups (and families) is your ticket to new memories! Mt. Hood Tiny House Village will be the base camp for our adventures. Enjoy campfire dinners, nature hikes, basic orienteering, leaf rubbing, bracelet-making, camp games and more! High Summer Wild-Crafting
