Nature Talk: “Nature’s Wisdom”–Native Plants As Food & Medicine

There are thousands of native plants in Oregon and a few stand out for their value as medicine, food, basketry and building materials. Learn about a few super plants and discover why the native tribes—as well as modern herbalists, chefs and craftspeople—depend upon them. Presented by John Savage, President of the Willamette Valley Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon, in partnership with the Straub Environmental Center.
